TAPPA promotes the technical and artistic education of its image makers through Print Competition. There are two kinds of competition - the monthly, called "Print of the Month" - and the more formal "Print Competition," held twice each year.
The "Print of the Month" competition is voted on by the members in attendance of that month's meeting. The semi-annual "Print Competition" involves scoring and an in-depth critique by 3 qualified judges from outside of TAPPA.
Points earned through print competition are added to points awarded for participation in TAPPA activities, and the photographer with the highest point total is awarded "TAPPA's Photographer of the Year."
All monthly winners should send their images to POM@tappa.org, for inclusion in the newsletter and on this website. |
